Fire breaks out at Prime Minister House
ISLAMABAD: A fire broke out at the sixth floor of the Prime Minister House on Monday.
Prime Minister Imran Khan was chairing a meeting at the PM Office when the fire erupted.
The prime minister was asked to leave but he ordered the staff to evacuate other people before he leaves the place.
The premier left for his camp office at Banigala after the building was evacuated.
Authorities said they have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause behind the fire.
They said apparently the fire was caused by a short circuit but they were looking into it from different angle while not ruling out sabotage.
