Karachi: ARY News has fired the former executive producer of the show late Arshad Sharif hosted on the private TV channel.
Adeel Raja was currently working with Kashif Abbsi, who is also off air those days for unknown reasons.
While no statement was made about his removal, it’s believed that Raja’s tweets might have led to his termination.
Adeel Raja is followed by thousands of people on X, formerly Twitter. He is often accused of taking sides with the PTI.
Self-exiled PTI leader Mirza Shehzad Akbar criticized the ARY’s decision to remove its employee instead of defending him.
He said ARY should have followed in the footsteps of Geo News which always protect its workers.
