Government’s Saturday holiday notification sparks protest online

Karachi: Thousands of people on Friday took to social media to protest government’s decision not to restore the Saturday holiday in Pakistan.

The government on Friday issued a notification for office timings which mentioned Saturday as working day.

Government’s supporters also condemned the decision and requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to restore Saturday as holiday.
