Maulana Hafiz Shah Muhammad dies in Lahore

Lahore: Renowned religious scholar Maulana Hafiz Shah Muhammad has passed away in Lahore.

The maulana was the Mohtamim (principal) of famous religious seminary Madrassa Qasmiya Rehman Pura in the Punjab’s capital.

His funeral prayers would be held on Sunday, 30 May after Asr prayers in Cricket Ground on Wehdat Road in Muslim Town area of Lahore at 5:00 PM.

Thousands of followers paid tribute to Maulana Hafiz Shah for his services to Islam and Muslims and for spreading the message of love and peace.
