Mirza said that he would publicly apologize for challenging Tariq Masood if he is proven wrong in the debate.
He said Mufti Tariq Masood will have to renounce his beliefs if he is proven wrong.
Both the personalities are popular on social media and are followed by millions of people in Pakistan and abroad.
When Tariq Masood said he would release a video at 9:30 pm Friday, many people thought that it would feature a debate between him and Mirza.
