Karachi: Heavy machinery was moved to Karachi’s Nasla Tower as pre-demolition work started on Wednesday after Supreme Court
reprimanded Karachi Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Memon to implement the court orders.
An apex court bench comprising Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed and comprising Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan and Justice Qazi Mohammad Amin Ahmed
ordered the commissioner to use all heavy equipment and machinery available at his disposal and “immediately demolish” Nasla Tower and Tejori Heights.
