Aftab Iqbal heartbroken after Gen Faiz Hameed ditches him
Lahore: Comedy show host Aftab Iqbal is being mocked online for complaining that former DG ISI Faiz Hameed did not share his mobile phone number with him.
He said that when Faiz Hameed changed his mobile number after he was transferred to Bahawalpur from Peshawar as Corps Commander.
“He did not share his new number with me. I was heartbroken when I saw his number on our mutual friend’s phone.”
He said the general did not give his number even after he conveyed his complaint through the mutual friend.
“But the very next day I got his number through a source but never telephoned him again,” he said.
Aftab Iqbal said he was the one who had defended General (retd) Faiz Hameed when former president Faiz Hameed had insulted him during a press talk.
