Journalist Mishal Bukhari, wife of anchor Ameer Abbas, dies

Islamabad: Anchor and journalist Mishal Bukhari on Tuesday died of cancer at the age of 36, her husband Ameer Abbas, who is also an anchor, said.

Abbas said he is mourning the demise of his brave wife who lost her battle to cancer.

Ameer Abbas said Mishal’s funeral prayers would offered at 1:00 PM at Jamia Al-Muntazir in Lahore.

Tributes started pouring in after the sad news of the young journalist’s death surfaced.

Mishal Bukhari worked in the media industry for over a decade and hosted current affairs shows on several TV channels.
