Pakistan airspace closed for Indian flights?
Karachi: The reports of Pakistan closing the airspace for Indian flights started making rounds on Thursday August, 15, 2019 after Indian forces martyred three Pakistani soldiers along the Line of Control.
The Pakistan army said it has also killed five Indian soldiers in a tit-for-tat response the enemy..
The reports turned out to be rumors since the government has issued no such orders and the country’s aviation authorities are also silent on the matter.
Pakistan had closed its airspace during the February standoff with New Delhi.
Pakistan’s action had followed Indian airstrikes inside its territory which were met with befitting response the next day.
Pakistan had brought down an Indian aircraft and caught its pilot. The pilot was later handed over to Indian authorities as a good well gesture.
