Batting first, Pakistan posted 280/5 in 50 overs, with Haris Sohail hitting unbeatable 101.
Umar Akmal 48 and Shan Masood 40 were other notable contributions from Pakistani side.
Aaron Finch (116) and Shaun Marsh (91) took Australia home with an over to spare.
Australia achieved the target in 49 overs at the loss of two wickets.
