Babar Azam Breaks Virat Kohli’s Record

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has broken another record of former Indian captain Virat Kohli during the Asia Cup Super Four’s first match.

During the first match of the Asia Cup Super Four, Babar Azam, as captain, became the fastest player to score 2,000 runs.

The Pakistani captain achieved this milestone in just 31 innings, while Virat Kohli had completed 2,000 runs as captain in 36 innings.

Babar Azam achieved this feat during the match against Bangladesh in Lahore when he scored a run. He became the fastest player to score 2,000 runs as captain.

As a captain, the 2,000-run milestone was reached in 41 innings by South Africa’s AB de Villiers, 47 innings by Michael Clarke, and 48 innings by India’s MS Dhoni and England’s Eoin Morgan.
