Australia cricket team to visit Pakistan, says High Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: Australian High Commissioner Margaret Adamson on Saturday said  the Australian cricket team will soon visit Pakistan following the successful conduct of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) fourth edition matches in Karachi.

In an interview with a private TV channel, she said the PSL has become a wonderfully successful event, expressing the hope that not only Australia but teams from others countries will also want to visit Pakistan.

The diplomat said the PSL matches held in Pakistan will play a major role in bringing international cricket back to the country.

Australia and Pakistan are currently playing a five-match ODI series in UAE which the Aussie side lead 4-0.

Australia defeated Pakistan in four consecutive matches ahead of World Cup 2019.
