The Economic Times, an Indian newspaper, claims Pakistan sending missiles to Ukraine
Pakistan has been accused of sending 10,000 MLRS “Grad” missiles to Ukraine from its stockpiles amid the Russian invasion.
The Economic Times reported that the deliveries were made through Poland via a German port.
According to the newspaper, western states have paid Pakistan for the missiles.
Instead of questioning the veracity of the news report carried by an Indian newspaper, some Pakistani social media users, previously known for being the militaty’s mouthpieces, have started asking about the money which allegedly came in return for the missile supplies.
A large number of Pakistanis saw the report as a propaganda by The Economic Times, which is an Indian English-language business-focused daily newspaper. It is owned by The Times Group.
They said the report may be a part of a coordinated campaign to pit Pakistan against Russia at a time when its economy is on the brink of collapse.
