Huw Edwards: Prince William’s message for Dele Alli also meant for BBC presenter?

Prince William voiced his support for Dele Alli when the footballer revealed that he was molested as a child.

Using the official Twitter account of the Prince and Princess of Wales, William shared a clip of Alli’s interview with Gray Neville and wrote, “Brave and inspirational Dele. Discussing mental health is not a sign of weakness. Let’s keep the conversation going. The future king assured Dele, “We’re all with you and we wish you the very best.”

The Prince of Wales’ message came when BBC presenter Huw Edwards wife said he is hospital with serious mental health issues.

His wife Vicky Flind said she was issuing a statement on his behalf after days of speculation “primarily out of concern for his mental well-being and to protect our children”.

He visited hospital after The Sun reported he paid a young person for sexually explicit images.

The Met Police says Edwards, 61, will not face any police action.

While Dele Alli and Huw Edwards have emerged as a victim and predator respectively, mental health issues with them is something common in them.

People critical of the royal are wondering whether Prince William’s message for Dele Alli was also meant for Huw Edwards since he can’t publicaly name him.
