Rumors swirl about Faiz Hameed and Saqib Nisar’s press conference amid PTI long march
Islamabad: Rumors of a “game changing” press conference are doing the rounds since Imran Khan began his long march from Lahore.
Many PTI supporters believe that Lt.General Faiz Hameed would hold a press conference.
They think that the press conference from the former ISI chief would favor Imran Khan.
Other people believe that former Supreme Court chief justice Saqib Nisar would hold the press conference in favor of the former prime minister.
Senior journalist Waseem Badami said he talked to Saqib Nisar who told him that he does not intend to hold any press conference.
Meanwhile, senior journalists in Islamabad have rejected the rumors regarding the Faiz Hameed’s press conference.
They said no serving army general can go against his institution.
They said ISI Director General Nadeem Anjum and ISPR DG Babar Iftikhar represented their institution at the unprecedented press conference.
