Weather forecasters have predicted “light rain showers and a gentle breeze” on Sunday, when Pakistan take on India at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
“The weekend and start of next week will bring mixed weather. There will be some sunny spells each day, but there will also be the chance of showers too,” the BBC Weather website forecasted.
The UK MetOffice said Manchester would witness sunny intervals on Sunday “changing to light showers by late morning”.
Pakistan have only three points on the table, winning only the one match against England out of their four World Cup matches.
