Govt likely to increase petrol,diesel prices by Rs11
ISLAMABAD: The government is expected to increase petroleum prices from April 1.
Citing sources, a private television channel reported that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has recommended a hike of Rs11.92 per liter on petrol price, Rs11.17 diesel, and Rs6.65 Kerosene Oil.
The regulator has sent a summary recommending price hikes in POL prices to the prime minister who would take the final decision whether to approve it or keep the prices unchanged.
The summary has also suggested an increase of Rs6.50 per litre in the price of Light Diesel.
The government revises the petroleum prices on monthly basis.
