Javed Afridi, Pakistani businessman and owner of Peshawar Zalmi, recently stirred a debate about the arrival of MG car as he sought people opinions about the car’s projected price in Pakistan.

Afiridi vowed to launch low cost cars in Pakistan to give a befitting response to so-called “Big 3”.

His statement was welcomed by a large number of people who urged him to import a MG3 hatchback car into Pakistan.

Javed Afridi set the alarm bells ringing for Cultus, Picanto and some other car makers with his announcement.

MG comes in 1500 CC engine with 105 horse power and it was introduced with both auto and manual transmissions and it may be imported with 1000 and 1300 CC engines for Pakistani market.

It’s features include as many as six airbags, AVS breaks, seat belt warning alarms and vehicle immobilizer. It will comes wit a sunroof facility.

It is likely to be priced around .19 or 2 million Pakistan rupees
