Porsche issues statement on Ukraine ‘crisis’ without naming Russia

London: Porsche on Thursday announced to donate one million euros to a charity in order to provide urgent aid to the victims of the war Russian has imposed on Ukraine.

“It is with great concern and dismay that Porsche observes the devastating crisis in Ukraine,” the German automobile manufacturer said in a statement, without naming Russia.

It said “In order to provide urgent aid to the country’s victims, Porsche is donating one million euros to the UNO-Fluchtlingshilfe charity and Ferry Porsche Foundation.”

Porsche said,”Our thoughts are wit every individual suffering as a result of this war.”

Thousands of people have been killed and many others injured since Russia invaded Ukraine last week.
