Aftab Iqbal receives backlash for ‘joke about Ghazwa Uhad’

TV anchor Aftab Iqbal has been accused of blasphemy for a joke on his show that referred to Ghazwa Uhad.

The comedy show anchor, who rose to fame from Khabarnaak show on Geo, has yet to respond to criticism that he has faced online.

Thousands of people on Monday demanded Aftab Iqbal apologize over his remarks which they said referred to Sahaba, the companions of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
