Reports regarding Avengers: Endgame leaked footage have taken the Internet by storm, with directors of the Marvel movie (Russo brothers) pleading with fans not to spoil the film.
The rumors emerged on Tuesday just more than a week before release date
that a clip from the upcoming movie has been leaked online.
CNBC confirmed the rumors about Avengers: Endgame leaked footage.
Internet users were reportedly sharing the clip of the Marvel movie on social sites like Twitter and Reddit.
CNBC said those who have seen the revealed clips of Avengers: Endgame deemed them on the “spoiler-heavy” side.
Vanityfair asked readers to use social media at their own peril, hinting that the Avengers:Endgame leaked footage is so widespread that they risk coming across it anywhere before the film is released on April 26.
Representative for Disney did not confirm the leak but CNBC said the leaker probably had the clearance to view the movie in the first place, ruling out the possibility that a fan might have recorded it at any early screening.
Citing another report from Gizmodo, Vanityfair reported that Avengers: Endgame leaked footage has subtitles in Arabic.
“Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in Endgame, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga,” they wrote. “Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help. When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.,” said the letter penned by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo.
The letter was also shared by the official Twitter account of Avengers.
