Danish could be alive in other versions shot by ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ runners

The ending of popular Pakistani drama serial “Mere Paas Tum Ho” left the fans devastated on Saturday when they saw Danish (protagonist) die of a heart attack.

The popularity of the drama could be gauged from the fact that all the top trends on Twitter were about its climax and characters shortly after its shocking finale aired on ARY TV channel.

While most of the fans lashed out at the show runners over the climax, majority of the them were grieving the death of Danish and worrying about his son Rumi.

Drama writer Khalil -Ur-Rehman Qamar also came under severe criticism for his obsession with killing key characters in majority of his scripts.

While fans can’t do much about what happened on “Mere Paas Tum Ho” finale, they may find solace in the fact that the show runners had shot several versions of the last episode of the drama.

They can find some relief in the thought that Danish (played by Humayun Saeed) could be alive in at least one version of the drama’s last episode.

In the run up to “Mere Paas Tum Ho” finale, it was reported that most of the people associated with the show were unaware of which episode fans would get to see on January 25.

Directed by Nadeem Baig, the drama featured Mehwish Hayat, Adnan Siddiqui and Humayun Siddiqui in the lead roles.
