Deepika Padukone was staying at Hotel Taj to evade the media present outside her house

Actress Deepika Padukone appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday after her name surfaced in Bollywood’s drug connection. According to reports, she reached the NCB office not from her home but from Hotel Taj in South Mumbai. It is learned that Deepika arrived at Hotel Taj on Friday night with her husband Ranveer Singh. This is where both of them stayed overnight.

Deepika’s smart decision to avoid media

Deepika returned to Mumbai from Goa on Thursday night. At that time, the media had chased her car and reached her house. Seeing this, Deepika and Ranveer made a smart decision to avoid media coverage.

At night she shifted from her home to the hotel and from there reached the NCB office in a small car. It is also alleged that Deepika and Ranveer had discussions with their lawyers till late Friday night.
