Dr Fauci contradicts Trump about Brad Pitt too
The White House on Monday rejected the impression that President Donald Trump wants to fire top health expert Dr Anthony Fauci.
The statement came after Trump retweeted a call to fire Fauci said in an interview that lives could have been saved if the country had shut down sooner during the novel coronavirus outbreak.
The White House said Trump did not intend to part ways with the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Later in the evening, Dr. Anthony Fauci said that the president listened to his advice when he recommended that mitigation efforts be taken to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
US media said that Trump was lived with Fauci since he often contradicts publically.
The second reason which have been ignore by the media could be Hollywood star Brad Pitt whom Trump doesn’t like one bit.
“I was never a big fan of his. He’s a little wise guy,” Trump said of Brad Pitt during a rally in Colorado Springs, Colorado in February.
Trump took aim at the actor after Pitt joked about Trump’s Senate impeachment trial at the Oscars.
You might be wondering what Brad Pitt has to do with Dr Fauci’s relationship with the Republican leader.
Last week, Dr Fauci was asked by a CNN host to choose between Brad Pitt and another actor whohe would like to play him on Saturday Live.
The top US health expert said he would like Pitt to play him. It is too much defiance to fall out favour with Mr Trump.
