Hamza Ali Abbasi sparks outrage with statement about his Islamic beliefs

Thousands of people on Tuesday protested online against what they said controversial remarks actor Hamza Ali Abbasi made on social media.

People belonging to different schools of thoughts urged the actor to withdraw his statement since it hurt their religious sentiments.

A Twitter trend was also started against the actor who is an admirer and follower of Islamic scholar Javed Ahmed Ghamidi.

Hamza Ali Abbasi posted the statement on his Facebook page on Tuesday while tagging the Ghamidi Center of Islamic learning.
