After Richa Chadha, now Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has also shared a post on pulling her name in the actor’s case. Huma has vented her anger on her Twitter account saying that I do not need to drag her into this mess.

Huma Qureshi shared the post, writing, ‘Anurag and I last worked together till 2012-13 and he is my good friend and a very talented actor. In my personal experience and knowledge, they have neither treated me nor anyone else. However, anyone who claims to have misbehaved should report it to the authorities, police and judiciary.

She further wrote, ‘I have not commented yet because I do not believe in social media fights and media trials. I feel really angry at being dragged into this mess. I get angry not only for myself but for every woman whose years of hard work and struggle reduces the very baseless estimates and allegations on her workplace. Please avoid all these things. It is the joint responsibility of both women and men to carefully guard the sanctity of #meetoo. This is my final response. Please do not contact me to give any further statement on this matter.’

The filmmaker responded after Payal tweeted and tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the allegations against Anurag and called his claims ‘baseless’. Apart from this, he also issued a statement through his lawyer where he denied all the allegations. After these allegations on Anurag, many celebs like Mahi Gill, Taapsee Pannu, Radhika Apte have supported him.
