Maria B slammed for ‘transphobic’ comments after Mehrub Moiz stopped from speaking at school

Fashion designer Maria B has been slammed for what her critics said her transphobic comments.

Maria was condemned for supporting a private school’s decision to stop transgender rights activist Mehrub Moiz Awan from speaking in Lahore.

Her comments on gender identification were condemned by rights activists on Twitter and other social media websites.

Defending her comments on Instagram, Maria B wrote she is not against Mehrub but won’t accept him as a transgender.
