Mehwish Hayat returns wearing Tamgha-e-Imtiaz on her heart

KARACHI: After receiving civil award for the services she has rendered for Pakistan film industry, Mehwish Hayat returned to Karachi on Monday.

Civil Awards were conferred on more than 250 people during a ceremony held in President House on Saturday on the occasion Pakistan Day.

After landing in the metropolis, the actor tweeted a picture of herself wearing the “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” medal.

“Bringing home the medal. Wearing it on my heart with pride, Karachi here we come,” she wrote with with a heart emoji.

The “Punjab Nahi Jaun Ge” also hashtagged “Pakistan Zindabad” slogan in her Twitter post.
