Neha Rajpoot, Shahbaz Taseer wedding in pictures

Shahbaz Taseer, the son of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer, got married to model Neha Rajpoot on Friday.

Their nikkah ceremony was attended by close friends and family members of the couple. Pictures and videos from their nikkah and reception are doing the rounds on social media, with Neha’s fans congratulating her on her wedding.

Taseer had been missing for more than four years after being abducted in Lahore months after his father Salman Taseer was killed by his own bodyguard over perceived blasphemy in 2011.

Shahbaz and his first wife Maheen Ghani, parents of a daughter, divorced last year. Maheen, who is a fashion designer had discussed her divorce on social media and when she was asked whether Neha was the reason, she said, ” To each their own I guess and whatever makes them happy. Though I do hope that this trend of certain models with married men and vice versa changes. I am divorced now fortunately and wish them peace and healing.”

Neha Rajpoot responded to the accusations writing: “Lol it’s easy to point out fingers at people who stay quiet, well there is always two sides to a story just because someone is quiet doesn’t mean they are wrong. I’m amazed at how whenever something comes up it’s so easy for people to put on at models calling them homewreckers and totally disregard housewives who when their husbands are away for long, they cheat left, right and centre and then blame the man for moving on. I rest my case here and I wish her peace and love.
