Pakistani actress wants govt to make an example of ‘poor 400 men’ for assaulting a girl in Lahore
Mahira Khan joined the chores of condemnations after a disturbing video of a female TikToker being assaulted by hundreds of men surfaced on line.
According to police, the incident took place at Lahore’s Minar-e-Pakistan and a case has been registered against unidentified men on the complaint of TikToker Ayesha. The FIR said that the woman was attacked when she was filming a video along with her companions.
Reacting to the video, Mahira Khan said, “I can’t believe what I just saw!!! I’ve said it before and I will say it again – make an example out of these men!.”
On second thought, Pakistan’s favorite super star said, “Damn I’m sorry.. I keep forgetting – it was Her fault!! Poor 400 men.. they couldn’t help it.”
Fatima Bhutto, the granddaughter of former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, human rights activist Jibran Nasir and several other prominent members of the Pakistani society expressed outrage at the incident and called for the arrest of the culprits.
