Pakistan’s Mehwish Hayat becomes part of ‘Oscar Selection Committee’ for 2020

Mehwish Hayat on Thursday said she has been picked to represent Pakistan “Oscar Selection Committee”.

Taking to Instagram, the actress said, “I am honoured to be part of the “Oscar Selection Committee” for this year alongside our own two time Oscar Winner @sharminobaidchinoy.”

She continued, “I look forward to seeing the nominated films and choosing the one we put forward”.

Mehwish, who recently came under criticism for her new biscuit ad, said “At least this is one way that we can be putting a positive image of our country and highlighting our talent on the World stage ! InshaAllah”
