PSL in Pakistan: Ayesha Jehanzeb sees international players stepping out of ‘comfort zones’
LAHORE: Geo News anchor Ayesha Jehanzeb on Thursday took to Twitter to celebrate return of international cricketers to Pakistan to take part in the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019.
“Today a lot of international cricket stars will step out of their comfort zones & play on Pakistani grounds just to show solidarity with this nation & to appreciate us that Pakistan has a lot more worth than what is portrayed,” the Khabarnaak host wrote on Twitter.
She used #CricketComesHome and #PakistanZindabad hashtags in her Twitter post.
The anchor had witnessed last year’s PSL final at Qaddhafi Stadium in Lahore but this year she won’t be able to make it to the National Cricket Stadium which is located over a thousand kilometers from Punjab’s capital and where the final of the fourth edition is taking place.
