Los Angeles: Rapper Slim 400 was rushed to a hospital after being shot multiple times in Friday night attack in Compton.

He is said to be in a stable condition after undergoing a surgery, local media reported.

Although police did not confirm Slim 400 was shot, A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Country Sheriff said a shooting took place and the victim was still alive.

The Compton based rapper is a music producer who has also collabrated with artists like YG.

Fans were left shocked with reports of the rapper being shot and were praying for the early recovery of Slim 400.
