Sandra Bullock, Bryan Randall were betrayed after ALS diagnosis

Page Six is under fire for publishing a story about Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall’s split after her long time partner died at the age of 57.

Citing a Us Weekly, the publication said on August 3 that Sandra Bullock’s relationship may be on the verge of crumbling.

It said the couple started living separately last year and have been “on the rocks” ever since.

Randall’s family on Monday said in a statement that “It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS.” The statement said, “Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”

Commenting on Page Six story a fan wrote, “This screams someone in their circle who wasn’t familiar with his illness leaked stuff to the press. He might have living in a assisted living facility as his condition worsened and someone could jumped to the wrong conclusion. Grief compounded by betrayal. So sad.”

Referring to Sandra Bullock’s interview, Another user wrote, “And someone might have heard that he wanted to get married but they decided not to, and then misread her statements in recent years that she “Doesn’t need the piece of paper.”

Page Six wrote that “The feeling is Sandra might be hoping for some type of miracle — that they’ll work things out after this long cooling-off period.”
