The Crown: Maria Sharapova watches show after engagement to a Briton

Maria Sharapova recently got engaged to the New York’s most well-connected British millionaire Alexander Gilkes after dating him for a couple fo years.

The Russian tennis star seems to have started showing some interest in British culture.

It has emerged that the the five-time Grand Slam winner is watching “The Crown”, a popular British TV series which tells the story of Queen Elizabeth’s reign.

It was revealed during a Q&A session on Instagram where Maria was asked “What are you currently binge watching”.

“I have been stuck on season 3 for a few weeks. Should I skip to 4?”

Her fiance Alexander is a friend of Prince William and attended the royal wedding of the Duke of Cambridge.
