Twitter users voice support for Saba Qamar over police case

Lahore: The Lahore police on Friday registered a case against actress Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed for “violating sanctity” of Masjid Wazir Khan.
The actress and the musician came under criticism for shooting a song in the historical mosque.
Both Saba and Bilal had apologized after clarifying that filming did not violate the sanctity of the mosque because no music was used in the filming.
Saba Qamar became top Twitter trend in Pakistan following the case registration, with users condemning the government for its failure to move against clerics who were caught molesting children in mosques and lodging cases against artists.
Thousands of tweets were posted in favor of Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed.
