Allama Talib Johri dies

Karachi: Allama Talib Johri, renowned shia scholar and zakir, has passed away.

According to family sources, the religious scholar was suffering from a heart disease for a long time.’

Talib Johri was arguably the most popular Pakistani shia cleric who has tens of thousands of admirers across the country.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep sorrow over his death and offered condolences to the family of Allama Talib Johri.

His death comes on the day when tens of thousands of people buried prominent religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Naeem in Karachi.
