Karachi: The family of comedian Amanullah on Wednesday rejected the rumors that he is dead.
Talking to Geo News, a son of the Pakistani Icon said his father was under treatment, requesting the people to pray for his early recovery.
Earlier in the day, rumors that Amanullah has died were doing the rounds on social media with fans expressing deep sorrow and grief .
The comedian who spread smiles on the faces of millions of Pakistanis for years became one of the top Twitter trends in the country following the rumors.
