Andy Murray teases Piers Morgan after Messi’s Argentina wins FIFA World Cup 2022

Andy Murray couldn’t resist a gentle tease after Messi’s Argentina won the FIFA World Cup 2022, defeating France in the final on Sunday.

“Not sure that FIFA World Cup could have gone any worse for you Piers Morgan,” the tennis star wrote on Twitter, tagging the TV presenter known for his criticism and dislike for Lionel Messi.

Morgan, who is known as a staunch supporter of Cristiano Ronaldo and often goes on to insult Messi, admitted that it was ,”not my best tournament.”

Morgan had earlier predicted that France will defeat Argentina to lift the trophy.
