Army bashing video does not feature General (retd) Pasha

Islamabad: A video is being circulated on social media websites and WhatsApp groups with claims that it features former ISI chief General (retd) Ahmed Shuja Pasha.

In the video, a man impersonating as former ISI honcho criticizes the Pakistani military leadership for “imposing” PDM government on the country.

He holds Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa responsible for Imran Khan’s ouster and calls on military officers to “act”.

The video doing the rounds on social media and WhatsApp does not feature General Pasha.

According to multiple sources, the video was created with the help of Deep Fake technology.

Senior Pakistani journalist Saleem Safi also confirmed that the man shown in the video is not the former spymaster.
