Army Chief General Asim Munir meets Arshad Sharif’s mother

Islamabad: Chief of the Army Staff General Asim Munir met the mother of late journalist Arshad Sharif, said Sabir Shakir.

Several other journalists also said the army chief visited the mother of Arshad Sharif and assured her that the killers of her son would soon be behind the bars.

Arshad Sharif was shot dead in Kenya in October.

He was reportedly killed by Kenyan police.

A Fact Finding Team set up by the government of Pakistan recently submitted its report to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
