London: Author Taslima Nasreen is receiving flak for criticizing Malala Yousafzai for marrying a Muslim.

The controversial author has been condemned not only by the supporters of Malala Yousafzai but also liberal activists for her remarks.

Reacting to the backlash she received online the author said, “Some misogynist Talibans are happy with Malala because she married a Muslim, a Pakistani and married when she is very young.”
