Avari Towers hotel issues statement on ‘Zubair Umar scandal’

Karachi: Reacting to speculations that Mohammad Zubair Umar’s controversial videos were filmed in Avari Towers, the hotel management has issued a statement.

“The Avari family, Avari Hotels, it’s executives and team members wish to clarify that there are no hidden cameras placed in the rooms in their direct or indirect knowledge,” said the statement.

It said, “If something was caught by an in-room camera, it was illegally placed, unknown to us and does not have our consent.”

The statement added, ‘”Avari group never promotes spying or breaking the privacy of its guests,/clients.”
