Ayesha Rajab Ali reacts to Talal Chaudhry episode

Ayesha Rajab Ali, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz MNA , has issued a statement on the media reports that PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry was beaten by her relatives.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, the female lawmaker from Faislabad said in Urdu that the way she was discussed on social and electronic media was not only an insult to her but also the sanctity of all women. “I am a mother, a sister, a daughter and a member of a respectable family,” she said.

Rejecting the media reports, Ayesha Rajab said, “I will request you not to disrespect me by believing in hearsay”.
