Bahria Town Karachi protest in pictures and videos
Several buildings, shops and cars were set on fire in Bahria Town Karachi on Sunday when hundreds of protesters
gathered from rural areas of Sindh for a demonstration against Malik Riaz.
The protesters belonging to several political parties including Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz had gathered on the call of Sindh Action Committee to record their protest against alleged eviction of villagers and land grabbing of Bahria Town.
The Sindh Action Committe has disassociated itself from the violance which erupted in Bahran Twon.
Videos and pictures of the attack on Bahria Town flooded WhatsApp groups and social medi websites as the mainstream media chose not to cover the events in the gated community.
Jamaat-e- Islami condemned the violen,ce saying some people were using the attack on Bahria Town to pit Muhajirs against Sindhis.
