Bilawal approves of Zubair Umar’s criticism of PM Imran over TTP talks

Karachi: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Mohammad Zubair Umar on Friday criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan after the latter revealed that his government has been holding peace talks with the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The spokesman for Maryam Nawaz, who was recently caught up in a video scandal, retweeted a couple of tweets posted by top Pakistani journalists featuring clips of Khan’s interview with a Turkish TV channel.

“Unbelievable our PM – doesn’t have any problem even when our security forces are attacked by TTP. Just a spate of attacks ?,” he wrote.

In another tweet, he said, ” Only Imran Khan can say these things and get away with it. Actually he’s saying TTP was right all along. We were wrong in picking up arms against them. Quote unbelievable”.

While most of government supporters referred to his purported video as they attacked the former Sindh governor for criticizing Imran Khan, Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was prominent among those who liked Mohammad Zubair Omar’s comments on Twitter.
