BLA claims it shot down Pak Army helicopter in Balochistan

Rawalpindi: A Pakistani army helicopter crashed during flying mission near Khost , Harnai Balochistan late last night , according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR said all six personnel on board including two pilots embraced martyrdom.  

Those who lost their lives were identified as Major Muneeb Afzal – Pilot, Major Khurram Shahzad – Pilot, Naik Jalil – Crew, Abdul Wahid, Imran and Shoaib.

Meanwhile, proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army claimed it shot down the helicopter which had come in search of two soldiers abducted by the terrorist organization.

The BLA’s claim could not be independently confirmed.
