Blasphemy accused killed in Peshawar court

Peshawar: A blasphemy accused was gunned down at a local court in Peshawar on Wednesday.

According to reports, Muhammad Khalid shot dead Tahir in front of Additional Session Judge Shaukatullah after snatching a weapon from a policeman.

The deceased was a former Qadiyani and had an FIR registered against him for reportedly committing blasphemy.

The assailant was taken into custody from inside the court.
