Bloomberg journalist says Pakistanis should be afraid of Zalmay Khalilzad

Islamabad: Senior journalist Bobby Ghosh warned Pakistanis of Zalmay Khalilzad’s interest in their country’s politics after the former US diplomat recently started issuing statements regarding the situation in Pakistan.

Khalilzadz on Tuesday voiced support for former prime minister Imran Khan and called for elections in Pakistan.

There are indications that Pakistan's parliament, which is controlled by the governing coalition, might well ask the Supreme Court to disqualify Imran Khan from running for election and even prohibit PTI in the next few days.

Commenting on Khalilzadz’s statement, the Bloomberg journalist wrote, “History shows what happens when Zalmay Khalilzad has thoughts on how the politics of a country ought to be conducted.
Pakistanis should be afraid… very afraid.”
