Dera Ghazi Khan ‘gangsters’ torture man accused of kidnapping and murder in horrific video

Dera Ghazi Khan: A day after Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice of barbaric murders of two men in Dera Ghazi Khan, a gory video showing inhuman torture on one victim has shocked Pakistan.

The video being circulated on social media and WhatsApp groups shows armed men surrounding a wounded man, with one leveling serious allegations against the unnamed victim.

One of the men then takes out his knife and starts butchering the victim by cutting his both hands and nose before cutting his throat.

The wounded man is accused of killing a man named Haroon after receiving 1.5 million rupees as ransom. The deceased, along with his two accomplices (not seen in the video), is himself accused of cutting noses and hands of his victims after abduction before being “punished for his crimes”

After killing the man, another man is heard saying in Seraiki language that this gory video should serve as warning to those who deceive people.

Identities of the murderers and the victims were not immediately known. Captions surrounding the viral WhatsApp video claim that members of “Ladi gang” were responsible for the killings.

Chairing a meeting on law and order situation in Multan, Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident which took place in a tribal area of DG Khan.

The meeting also reviewed the cause of the murders after preliminary report of the incident was produced before the chief minister.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has also taken notice of the viral video and ordered a strict action against the people involved in heinous crimes.

Addressing a ceremony on Wednesday in Layya, South Punjab, the prime minister said that he was saddened to watch the video of ‘poor people’ being subjected to inhuman torture. He said his government would not spare the dacoits involved in the abduction and torture of villagers.
